Hey, if you missed the show this weekend at Coachella, or if you just want to relive it, Kurt654 posted a bunch of videos on Youtube... check them out - http://www.youtube.com/user/kurt654
We also performed an acoustic version of a new song "Give Me Sympathy” at Coachella for Spin.com -
Check it out!

Hello everyone
Well we have all been extremely busy, and it looks
like there are no signs of slowing down. We are
on a bit of break from writing our next album, but
we will begin again very soon. In the meanwhile
Emily is currently in England playing shows with
The Soft Skeleton (which i hear are going fantastic),
Jimmy is beginning work on Sebastien Grainger's
new album in their new recording studio Giant Studios,
and Joules and I are excited to introduce Bang Lime
our duo that has been long over due. Bang Lime is
your favorite drummer and mine Joules Scott Key
and yours truly on vocals and guitar. Recorded in
our home town of Oakland, California in a whirlwind
two week session. The album is titled Best Friends
in Love and is being released on Last Gang Records
August 14th. So take a trip over to www.myspace.com/banglime,
listen to some tunes and friend it up. BangLime.com is almost finished and looks great thanks to erin
our webmaster (great title). Can't wait to play
for you all the new music from Metric and Bang Lime,
we should have a really good time.

kind of way." - THE SUNDAY TIMES

Thank you so much to all of you who
came out to our first year of Dog Day
Afternoon. For those of you who came
to Fort York in Toronto, I have read
numerous emails over the last
few days, not only thanking
the band for the great day but
also respectively pointing out
that the water policies were
not so good. I apologize for
this. I didn’t know it
would be like this until I was
at the show and agree with you
that it was uncool. I promise
it will be different next year,
as will a few other details
that I noticed were less than
perfect that day. Your comments
have not gone unnoticed! That
said it was a momentous day
for us that will not be soon
forgot and we really have all
of you to thank. Montreal, I’m
so sorry. Sometimes, unfortunately,
logistics come in the way of
Rock n Roll. We’ll see
you in September.
